1. Application:
Highly exposed casts for pressurre casting and injecting, reinforcement into the cast core. Perforation tools for thick meterials (steel sheet metal up to 12mm thickness), shear knife, mincing knives. Dies, forming devices, forging die, mandrel holder for extrusion.
2. Steel characteristics:
Tool steel for cold work, the steel is recognized for high robustness, good penetrability. The steel is easy to polish.

4. Mechanical properties:
High carbon and high chromium, ledeburitic 12 % Cr alloyed cold work tool steel, dimensionally stable, high wear resistance, against abrasive and adhesive, good toughness, edge-holding ability and compression strength, low distorsion, non-deforming, full hardness with air hardening in any dimension, suitable for bath nitriding.

Length: 3000-6000mm
Mill deliver conditions, or sawing or cutting for customer request.
6. Delivery condition:
Annealed steel, max.285 HB.
