1. Applications:
Tools subject to severe mechanical wear, tools for the machining of very hard materials such as titanium, nickel and cobalt based alloys, engraving and shaft type milling cutters, tool bits for free cutting steels, twist drills, taps, hobs, broaches, saws, reamers, knives, cutters, thread rolling dies, chasers, form and gear cutters, end mills, cold work tools, trimming dies, cutting tools and cold work punches, cold forming tools, tool bits for automatic lathes, cold extrusion rams, tools for high cutting speeds.

3. Mechanical properties:
High speed steel alloyed with high molybdenum and 8 % cobalt, edge holding properties, high level hardenability, excellent hot hardness and wear resistance, high toughness and cutting ability, good grindability due to low V content, fine grain size and carbide particle size.
4. Conditions of delivery:
EAF/ESR,forged/hot rolled,black/turned(milled), annealed
Soft annealed to max. 280 HB
