1.3343, HS6 5 2C, M2, SKH51 Matrix High Speed tool Steels
1. Description:
1.3343 S6-5-2 is a general purpose high speed steel. 1.3343 S6-5-2 high speed steel offers good wear resistance with excellent toughness and cutting power. Molybdenum high speed steel, uniform carbide and high toughness. Because of its nice hardness and wear resistance, it is mainyly used to machine the low machinability materials.
2. Applications:
Standard material for machining tools, e.g. drill bits, milling cutters, screw dies, broaches, inserts for circular
saw blades. slotting tools and wood working tools. In addition cold forming tools e.g. cutting and blanking tools,
cold extrusion punches and dies. Excellent base material for PVD/CVD coating.
